Ron’s passion for boating runs deep. Growing up on the shores of Lake Michigan, he began boating at a very young age with his family who were the U.S. importers and distribution channel for the iconic Riva boats. This not only gave Ron a unique exposure to the boat business but ingrained in him a love of boating and specifically European boats. “At an early age I was attracted to the yachting industry, especially to the Italian designers like Riva. There was something different about the way they did things.”
After leaving the Midwest Ron began what became a 30 year career in medical sales. As a medical device rep, he grew his territory from zero into a multi-million dollar business. He advanced quickly into sales management of the largest distributorship in a three state region, ultimately taking over the distributorship in an acquisition. Accomplishing his goals in the medical sales industry allowed him to returned to his childhood passion and purchased a 62′ Sunseeker from 50 North Yachts.
